The TRR Southeast PA chapter training direction is to build a team of expert paddlers who move beyond their personal challenges. We plan training and trips to local creeks and rivers to challenge and advance skills in:

- Maneuvering in rapids
- Recognizing hazards
- Nature appreciation
- Group safety
- Exercise

Participation on river trips is based on attendance of TRR pool sessions and safety training as well as river difficulty as determined by TRR Trip Coordinator.
