TRR provides health and healing for military injured, active duty, recovering veterans and disabled members of the community through therapeutic kayaking and other forms of adventure paddling. TRR Southeast PA is a chapter of a national, independent 501-3(c) organization made up of local paddlers and veterans.
We start by learning the basics in a calm river or heated, indoor pool. From there, trips are planned to local creeks, streams and rivers. TRR adapts instruction and gear to individual injuries and challenges with a goal of forming a supportive community that enjoys sharing a day of outdoor adventure on a river.
Come on out and learn a life-long skill that can be shared with friends and family.
A little hesitant? It’s ok to just come out and observe.

National and International Paddling Opportunities
The national organization of TRR also organizes trips to more progressively challenging venues in Colorado, Montana, Florida, U.S. Virgin Islands and Mexico. Many of these trip opportunities are available at no cost to paddlers. Leadership training is provided so that wounded warriors can take their growing adventure skills home to share with veterans in their community.
